how it work ?
most of the devices which measure the pulse take a photo to the fingers and analysis its color before and after pumping the blood and that's how the device work .
as the new cardiograph so you could measure your pulse using this app for iPhone and i pad also you could measure your heartbeat with the same way that the cardiograph devices do.
after downloading and installing the app you turn it from start / stop then put your finger in front of your phone camera for 20 seconds before giving an approximation of the heartbeat. It should also noted that the phone should be include a flash to allow the camera take a photo to the color of the finger before and after pumping the blood.
also there is a little percent of errors compared with the real devices which measure the heartbeat .
